Shutter

*SHUTTER*
-The shutter is the controller of time.
-It's function is to open for a specific length of time to allow light to strike the film. Then it closes, protecting the film from further exposure

-Shutter speed effects the blurriness of the photo

Dear 5 year old me

Dear Sammi,
Well honestly, life sucks. At least most aspects as I see it now. Life isn't perfect, and neither are you or anyone around you. You will no longer be best friends with your parents, and Lindsey will move away. You will meet new people and some of them will hurt you.
On a positive note, you will be a good student and a good friend. You will meet Megan, Morgan, Sam, Holly, and Caden. Those people will make you happy through the tough times, and you WILL be okay.
Love,
Sammi

3 related rayographs

**RAYOGRAPHS**
-Wikipedia defines a rayograph (also known as a photogram) as an image taken without a camera by placing objects on a piece of photo paper.
-Rayographs (also known as a photograph) were first made by Man Ray in the 20th century.
-Rayographs are made by placing objects on a piece of light-sensitive photo paper in complete darkness. Then light is administered to the objects/paper for a short amount of time (ie. 5 or 10 minutes). Which creates light and dark shadows on the paper. Finally the photo is developed in multiple chemicals and then dried.
